Ellie Gavalas will return to strengthen the Kangaroos’ forward line ahead of Sunday’s trip to face Adelaide

Veteran Ellie Gavalas will return to strengthen the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos’ forward line ahead of Sunday’s trip to face Adelaide at Norwood Oval.

Gavalas, 27, has been named to play her seventh AFLW game this season, having been dropped from the side after the Round 6 win over Fremantle.

Both sides will be hungry to get back on the winners list on Sunday following setbacks last weekend.

The Crows lost to Brisbane while North Melbourne struggled to break down the Demons’ defence at Ikon Park.
