Why Hull City boss loves Jean Michael Seri and Aaron Connolly disagreement during Stoke win - Hull Live

After a strong Hull City debut, Aaron Connolly is still hanging out with Erling Haaland of Man City.
In the first few weeks of the season, the Tigers striker is having fun playing for the Black and Amber.

Aaron Connolly is keeping some distinguished company at the top of the scoring lists after his latest goal gave Hull City their third consecutive victory away at Stoke City on Sunday. His start to the Championship season has been impressive.

At the bet365 Stadium, Connolly scored his fifth goal in eight league games by turning in a cross from Jaden Philogene before contributing significantly to Adama Traore’s goal two minutes later.

Only Manchester City’s lethal weapon Erling Haaland and Swindon Town’s Jake Young have a better goals-per-minute record than Connolly so far this term across all 92 Premier League and EFL clubs.

Haaland already has eight goals to his name in the six games he’s played for the domestic and European champions averaging a goal every 67 minutes, while in-form Young has gone one better with nine goals and four assists in his eight outings for the League Two outfit equating to one every 70.

In fact, Connolly and his City teammate Ozan Tufan, have the best goals per 90-minute ratio of anybody in the Championship with the pair sharing 1.12.
