Tua Tagovailoa Is Not Happy The Dolphins Got Picked For The Midseason Version Of ‘Hard Knocks’
Hard Knocks has provided NFL fans with an inside look at the inner workings of NFL training camp for more than two decades, and the teams that are featured are usually looking to bounce back from a rough campaign. However, HBO has taken a slightly different approach for the “In Season” version of the show, and it’s pretty obvious one notable name isn’t thrilled the Dolphins were tapped for this year’s installment.
The Miami Dolphins currently have one of the most electric offenses in the NFL thanks to Tua Tagovailoa and a blistering speedy wide receiver core led by Tyreek Hill. They currently sit atop the AFC East with a 5-2 record, and it’s hard to imagine they won’t be making an appearance in the playoffs when everything is said and done.
They also boast one of the most entertaining coaches the NFL has to offer in the form of Mike McDaniel, so when you take all of those factors into consideration, it’s pretty easy to understand why the folks behind Hard Knocks viewed the Dolphins as an ideal candidate for the midseason installment of the program.
With that said, most NFL teams view the show as an unnecessary distraction, as every single team that was eligible to appear on Hard Knocks prior to the start of the season made a concerted effort to get out of it before the Jets were forced to accept their seemingly inevitable fate.
