AN UNCOMFORTABLE CONVERSATION
As part of the EFL’s Together Against Racism campaign, Reds defenders Barry Cotter and Kacper Ļopata shared their personal experiences.
This weekend’s match against Fleetwood Town is our designated ‘Together Against Racism’ fixture, where focus falls on efforts to educate, inform and inspire in the ongoing mission to end racism, full stop.
Two of our first team players were keen to help improve the message, and took part in what can be an ‘uncomfortable conversation’ about race, their individual experiences and how they feel football – and people generally – can overcome inequality and all forms of discrimination.
We thank Barry and Kacper for their help and as a club, we will always be Together Red. There is no room for racism in football.
