Harry Kane paid a personal farewell visit to his former Tottenham Hotspur teammates and colleagues at the club’s Enfield training facility earlier today.
According to the Daily Mail, Harry Kane ‘reconnected’ with the players and staff at the Tottenham training ground ahead of England’s Euro 2024 clash against Italy on Tuesday night.
Levy did not allow Kane to say goodbye to his former team-mates in the hours leading up to his move to Bayern Munich back in August.
He was not even allowed to pick up any of his personal belongings, before flying off to Munich later that day to complete his move to the German giants.
But Levy sanctioned the wish of his former captain this time as the player took out time from the preparation of England’s game to come to his former club’s training ground and bid farewell to the staff and colleagues properly.
Having spent his entire career at Tottenham, Kane shares a special bond with the club, making the farewell an emotional and meaningful moment for the English striker.
His move to Bayern was motivated by his personal ambitions but Spurs have a clause in his contract which could allow him to return to the club in the future.
He completed his move to Bayern in August for a whopping £120m and has had a great start scoring 9 and assisting 5 in 10 games across all competitions.
Harry Kane went on to score twice against Italy as England beat them 3-1.
