As they add double ace to the team, they say, “It’s an exciting match and we’re looking forward to it.”

IT’S AN EXCITING FIXTURE AND WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT”

Assistant manager Danny Webb spoke with the media ahead of Tuesday’s home fixture against Bromley FC.

He began by touching on Saturday’s draw at Maidenhead and whether he thought it was a pointed gained or two points lost.

He said: “I think it’s a bit of both, you could look at it both ways.

“We were disappointed with the goal we conceded and we were disappointed with the first-half performance overall.

“A point is absolutely better than losing though so sometimes you just have to take it.

“We wanted to win the game but we weren’t at our best and we still managed to pick up a point so overall I don’t think we can be too disappointed.

“To win a league or get promoted you have to be able to pick up points when you’re not at your best so we move on.

“It’s important to stay level-headed, we respect every opponent and look to the next game.”

Webb gave his thoughts on Bromley and what he expects from them.

“They’re a very physical side who do what they do very well,” he said.

“Without doubt it’s going to be a real battle but they can play football well too.

“It’s always been a feisty game when the two sides have met in the past. Two very strong and passionate clubs.

“It’s an exciting fixture and we’re looking forward to it.

“The fans will once again be behind us I’m sure and I can’t wait for another night under the lights at the SMH Group Stadium. Bring it on.”
