Worth a punt

Daniel Farke needs to add some bodies to his Leeds United squad, particularly having seen several first-team regulars leave the club on loan.

On the face of it, right-back is not an immediate area of concern even given Rasmus Kristensen has departed for Serie A giants Roma on loan.

Luke Ayling is still at the club and likely to be the first-choice right-back, while Cody Drameh is still on the books.

However, the latter is reportedly looking for an Elland Road escape route (Last Word on Sports, 19 July).

Drameh was on loan with Luton United for the second half of last season as the Hatters secured an unlikely promotion to the Premier League, while the season before he spent time with Cardiff City.

If he has no future at Elland Road then Leeds will need cover there, with Sam Byram having been training with his former club in pre-season.

Van Ewijk made 36 Eredivisie appearances last season, scoring six goals for good measure. He would be an interesting signing.
