Sheffield United youngster could opt to move on in January after Tottenham showed interest
Sheffield United might have tied down Will Osula to a new contract but there are now fears at the club over the future of Daniel Jebbison.
Jebbison is out of contract in the summer of 2024 and as yet, there has been no real movement in terms of signing a fresh deal. Indeed, the Sheffield Star claims that United don’t even have a clause in his current deal to trigger a year extension.
And according to that same report, Jebbison could sign a pre-contract in January while United might even look to cash in if things remain the same.
Daniel Jebbison could leave in January
It’s claimed that negotiations over a new contract for Jebbison have been ‘frustrating’. The 20-year-old burst onto the scene in the Premier League in 2021 but since then has struggled.
This season he was set to play a bigger role but an unknown health problem has held him back and Will Osula has now usurped him in the pecking order. Further, new signings like Cameron Archer and Benie Traore, plus the recent return of Rhian Brewster, mean Jebbison is playing catch-up.
