BLUES ENTER RACE WITH BURNLEY, STOKE AND WEST BROM FOR USA INTERNATIONAL
Blues have been linked with United States international Reggie Cannon and are among several clubs trying to capture his signature, according to Tribal Football.
The likes of Burnley, Stoke City and West Brom are all on his radar and he is a free agent this summer after leaving Boavista.
The 25-year-old has departed the Portuguese club over a dispute regarding unpaid wages this past season.
Cannon, who is the grandson of atmospheric scientist Dr Warren Washington, stated he was not paid on time in three years at Boavista.
His speed is one of his standout attributes, while he’d also provide a physical option at right-back or right wing-back.
Cannon has won 28 caps for his country and during his three years in Portugal he made 89 appearances for Boavista.
The likes of Nottingham Forest and Fulham have previously been linked with a move for Cannon, so it will be very hard to turn his head from the prospective of Premier League football.
