Bu rnley Star In Line For Turf Moor Exit

Burnley star Samuel Bastien is closing in on a loan exit as the Clarets are negotiating a deal with KV Kortrijk.

Vincent Kompany brought the 26-year-old midfielder to Turf Moor from Standard Liege last summer on a three-year contract.

However, Bastien failed to establish himself in Burnley’s starting line-up and made 18 league appearances last season.

The Clarets boss has brought in a host of new faces this summer and Bastien has fallen down the pecking order.

Bastien has suitors in the form of KV Kortrijk, who wants to take the midfielder back to Belgium this summer

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, negotiations between Burnley and KV Kortrijk are in progress.

And Bastien is nearing a loan exit from Turf Moor in the ongoing window in search of regular football.

Now all eyes will be on Bastien to see whether he will be able to seal his move from Burnley before the end of the transfer window.
