BREAKING NEWS: Costless, but now worth £20 million: Leicester’s 5′ 10″ “discovery” has been a huge success.

Leicester: Foxes’ £20 million “revelation” was a huge success. The city’s emerging star may still experience a meteoric rise in value.

This season, Leicester City’s goal is to return to the Premier League at the first attempt, and so far, everything is going remarkably well.

Prior to the international break, they suffered their first loss of the year against Hull City, but this seemed to shake the Foxes out of their slumber as they destroyed Southampton 4-1 on Friday.

With Harry Winks directing play in the centre of the field and winger Stephy Mavididi, who signed from Montpellier this summer, putting in a standout performance with a goal and an assist, the team’s new additions shone in that critical victory at St. Mary’s.

Enzo Maresca is developing the ideal recipe for success, and academy graduate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is at the center of that. After being forced to sell their star players after being demoted from the top division, Leicester had to part ways with players like James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, Timothy Castagne, and Youri Tielemans, to name a few. However, after doing their best to fill those gaps with a mix of youth and experience, Leicester is now doing so.

What is the value of Dewsbury-Hall?

Dewsbury-Hall is now valued at about £20 million, but if he continues to be the focal point of the Foxes midfield, that value might soar over the next few months and years.

The 25-year-old has come a long way since making a name for himself at Luton Town during the 2020–21 Championship season. At the time, manager Nathan Jones praised him as “absolutely class” for his contagious and diligent performances.

Dewsbury-Hall recorded three goals and six assists in his first full season of senior football, and according to FBref, he ranked in the top 4% for progressive passes, top 5% for key passes, top 8% for progressive carries, and top 13% for ball recoveries when compared to other Championship midfielders this season.
