MANAGER SUGGESTS £9.5M ACE SET FOR BURNLEY AS DEAL ‘MUST HAPPEN QUICKLY’
ESTAC Troyes coach Patrick Kisnorbo is aware of Wilson Odobert’s impending £9.5 million move to Premier League outfit Burnley.
The one-time Paris Saint-Germain starlet was conspicuous by his absence as Troyes drew 2-2 away from home at Dunkerque on the opening day of the Ligue 2 season over the weekend; Kisnorbo’s side ‘fighting them on the beaches’ and coming away with a point to their name.
Losing talented forward Wilson Odobert, however, makes winning the war that little bid harder for ESTAC, the club from the banks of the Seine looking to bounce back at the first time of asking after suffering relegation last term.
Burnley, according to FootMercato, have had a £9.5 million bid accepted for the 18-year-old. Odobert will undergo a medical at Turf Moor this week, having caught the eye while scoring four goals and setting up two more during an excellent breakthrough season in 2022/23.
