When Fabrizio Romano Said "Here We Go!", That's When The Issue Of Player Transfers Materialized

Everton finally complete Arnaut Danjuma transfer after crazy saga

Everton have completed the signature of Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal on loan for the 2023/24 season, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The journalist reported via his personal Twitter account on Sunday (23 July) that the player has completed his medical and the documents for the transfer have been signed.

Danjuma joins from the Spanish club until June 2024, having spent the second half of last season in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur.

“Everton finally have Danjuma after crazy six months,” Romano wrote on Twitter. “Medical done yesterday, documents completed.

“Straight loan from Villarreal valid until June 2024.”

Everton supporters have not had much great news in recent times, particularly when it comes to the summer transfer window.

Manager Sean Dyche really has been limited to what he can do in terms of new players, with the signature of Ashley Young on a free typifying the tricky situation that the boss finds himself in.

The cheaper alternatives have now continued with the loan signature of Danjuma, who is certain to improve Everton’s chances of success next season.

The attacker didn’t exactly get many chances to impress during his last spell in the Premier League, but he should be more than ready to prove his critics wrong in the coming months.

The Netherlands international found the back of the net eight times in all competitions last season, and although he may set himself higher standards next time out, it is still an upgrade on the current options that Dyche has in the final third, primarily due to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury issues.

In other Everton news, Alan Myers has shared an update on the imminency of the Toffees signing one Leeds United star amid speculation.
