Hull City make ‘exceptional’ Liverpool player their top transfer target
Championship side Hull City have reportedly made Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton their new top transfer target for the midfield position.
According to Hull Live, the Tigers are keen on signing the Anfield youngster on loan, with Morton expected to leave Liverpool for the season having impressed last year at Blackburn Rovers.
Morton is regarded by many fans as one of Liverpool’s most exciting midfield talents, with Jurgen Klopp calling the youngster ‘exceptional’ during his breakout year at the club.
Although Mortin could feature for Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League, there’s no doubt that the youngster would be best served going out on loan again and playing week-in week-out.
And Hull could be an ideal destination for Morton, with Liam Rosenior viewed as one of the most exciting young coaches in all of England at one of the most ambitious sides in the Championship.
Indeed, whilst European experience could be great for Morton, playing once again in England’s second-tier could be even better for the 20-year-old prospect.
Morton heading to Hull could be a great move this summer
Having made 40 league appearances for Blackburn last season, another move to the Championship could be a good move for Morton with Liverpool’s rebuild currently not including the youngster.
Hull under Rosenior are a proven club with the willingness to give youngsters a chance, and Morton could thrive in such a system.
Moreover, another year in the Championship could be exactly what Morton needs to break through that ceiling that will transform the youngster into a Premier League-ready player.
