Andre Gomes set to leave Everton for Fenerbahce in £4.3m deal
Everton are set to allow Andre Gomes to leave the club in a £4.3m deal to join Fenerbahce before Friday’s deadline, according to Fotomac.
Writing on their official website (13 September), the Turkish news outlet report that a move for the former Portugal international has received the green light from all parties.
Gomes isn’t part of Sean Dyche’s plans for the season and Everton are willing to take £4.3m to let him leave and avoid losing him for free next summer when his contract expires.
“While the search for a midfielder continues in Fenerbahçe , Andre Gomes, who plays for Everton , also came to the agenda,” they wrote.
“The British press also confirmed the work on this transfer. In the news; It was emphasized that Everton would accept an offer for the player.
“Even €5m (£4.3m) will be accepted for Gomes, whose contract will expire at the end of the season.”

Good deal
It was clear that Gomes had no future at Goodison Park when he left the club last summer on loan for Lille, and nobody really expected him to still be here at this point.
Gomes hasn’t featured at all this season under Dyche since the campaign started, not even making match-day squads for the four Premier League games so far.
The 30-year-old is keen to move on and get his career back on track while Everton are keen to cash in and get his wages off the books while recouping some money for him, so this deal suits everyone perfectly.
Fenerbahce want him to add depth to their squad and with the Turkish transfer window slamming shut on Friday night, there are around 48 hours remaining for a deal to be agreed and completed.
It looks likely to happen at this point and is just a matter of time for the formalities to be concluded, and everyone can move on from each other without any bad blood in the situation.
