Everton man Demarai Gray sends two-word message to Alex Iwobi after Fulham transfer

Demarai Gray has sent a two-word message to Alex Iwobi after he left Everton to join Premier League rivals Fulham.

As per the official Fulham website (2 September), the Nigeria international has joined the Cottagers until the summer of 2028.

Iwobi, who joined the Toffees from Arsenal in 2019, will now link up with his former manager Marco Silva in West London.

Taking to social media, Iwobi posted a video on Instagram with the caption: “All Good!”

Among those replying to the post was his former Everton teammate Gray, who commented: “Very good!”

Losing Iwobi is not great for the Toffees, who really could have done with the versatile midfielder’s experience and versatility over the coming months.

Everton have been very poor in recent seasons, and their bad form has continued into the new league campaign, where they currently sit 18th in the Premier League table. That is because they have yet to win a match, having drawn once and lost on three occasions so far.

With Gray, Everton have a different problem entirely, with the winger seemingly frozen out at the club as he tries to push for an exit.

Manager Sean Dyche is clearly not letting that happen, so it will be interesting to see what happens to the player after the current international break.

Gray has yet to be included in any Everton squad so far in the new season, with the Toffees having played four times in the Premier League and once in the EFL Cup.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have a plan to reintegrate Gray barring an unexpected late change, according to David Ornstein.
