Daniel Farke makes critical Leeds United error with Joel Piroe already
Leeds United are heading into the international break off the back of a disappointing 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 02 September.
Daniel Farke was forced into two changes at Elland Road from the win at Ipswich, with Jamie Shackleton and Crysencio Summerville coming in.
The German has already made one critical error though with one of his new signings, and it showed again with Joel Piroe massively uninvolved in the end.
The former Swansea man showed against Ipswich that he is a brilliant poacher and will put chances away that come his way, yet he is being played in the number 10 role.
Georginio Rutter is the opposite and missed two chances where he was clean through on goal yet again, chances that Piroe likely would have put away.
Rutter is simply not clinical enough to start as a number nine in this Leeds side, and that must be rectified sooner rather than later from Farke.

The good news about the international break is that there are now two weeks for the German to get a grip of his side and really drill home his tactics and methods.
Piroe needs to be pushed into that number nine spot and the return of some other injured players should help him add to his goal against Ipswich very quickly.
Leeds spent a lot of money on Piroe, they cannot simply waste him by not getting him into those areas where he thrives, it could be the end for some, if not.
In other Leeds United news, Luis Sinisterra’s agent has spoken out over the “fight” to secure a deadline day move away.
