Fulham are keen on Coventry City midfielder Gustavo Hamer who has also been targeted by Leeds and has one year left on his contract.
Hamer was one of the Sky Blues’ standout stars in their run to the Play-off Final last season, scoring the crucial winner in the semi-final win over Middlesbrough.
The 26-year-old joined Coventry from Dutch side PEC Zwolle in 2020, and last season netted 11 times in 44 appearances for Mark Robins’s men.
His departure would be a further blow to Coventry, with striker Viktor Gyokeres on the verge of signing for Sporting Lisbon, even though they have already replaced the Swede with the signing of Everton‘s Ellis Simms.
Fulham have yet to add to their squad so far this summer, but have been linked with a move for Benfica defender Morato and Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse.
The Saints midfielder is expected to leave St Mary’s following their relegation and the Cottagers are one of a number of clubs tracking his movements. With Spurs and West Ham also interested in the free-kick specialist.
Leeds meanwhile are also interested in Hamer, as they look to bolster their midfield ranks following the departure of Brenden Aaronson.
The American, who moved to Elland Road last summer, has joined German side Union Berlin on a season-long loan from the Championship side.
