Green Bay Packers: Two Former Players Make Semi-Finals For Pro Football Hall Of Fame

On Tuesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the final 25 players for the class of 2024. The list will go down to 15 at a later date. There is two former Green Bay Packers on that list.

Julius Peppers Time With The Green Bay Packers

In 2014, the Packers signed Julius Peppers to a three-year, $30 million contract, which included a guaranteed $7.5 million in the first year. Peppers played for the Green Bay Packers from 2014 to 2016 and had a significant impact on their defense, which made the playoffs in all of the years he was there. Peppers had already made a name for himself with the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears before joining Green Bay, but he continued to perform at a high level with the Packers.

Peppers is a NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, nine-time Pro Bowler, and is apart of the Carolina Panthers Hall of Honor.

In 2017,  Jahri Evans became a part of the Packers team and played as a right guard in 14 games that season. Prior to joining the Packers, Evans had already established himself as an accomplished player with the New Orleans Saints. He played his final NFL season with the Green Bay Packers and started in every one of the 183 games he appeared in.

Evans is a Super Bowl Champion, six-time Pro Bowler, and is apart of the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
