Why Hull City boss loves Jean Michael Seri and Aaron Connolly disagreement during Stoke win

Liam Rosenior says seeing two of his Hull City players arguing at half-time shows their passion and desire to win for the Tigers, after a thumping 3-1 win at Stoke City, something he believes is necessary for the club to be successful this season.
Jean Michael Seri and Aaron Connolly were engaged in a disagreement as the players headed down the tunnel at the bet365 Stadium with City leading 2-0 thanks to goals from the Irishman and Adama Traore.
Connolly, it’s understood, was frustrated at Seri’s sloppiness just before the break in giving away a free-kick – and a yellow card for the Ivorian – which goalkeeper Ryan Allsop needed to turn around the post from the edge of the box.
After the interval, according to Rosenior, the players reconciled their issues in the locker room while exchanging hugs. They then returned to the field to build on their 2-0 advantage when Regan Slater made it 3-0 before the hosts scored a consolation goal.
“I love it when people argue because they want to win. Since I’ve been here, I’ve been requesting that they fight for an entire year, the Tigers manager told Hull Live.
“You need to be demanding with each other; they had an argument as they were leaving the field, but they later reconciled and are once again great friends. That is what is necessary. Because it improves each other and helps you succeed, you need to demand things of each other and have disagreements occasionally.
