Colchester United trio named in League Two team of the week
COLCHESTER United’s Owen Goodman, Arthur Read and Jayden Fevrier have all been named in the League Two Team of the Week.
The trio were all in excellent form in the U’s 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Goalkeeper Goodman, on loan from Premier League side Crystal Palace, looked assured throughout in helping the U’s keep their second clean sheet of the season.
And Read supplied a fine assist for Joe Taylor’s opening goal for the U’s, before being forced off injured with around 20 minutes remaining.
Fevrier was the Gazette’s man of the match following a superb individual display which saw him give the Tranmere defence a torrid time throughout.
