Cody Drameh bids farewell to Leeds United as he makes decision on Birmingham and Hull transfer
Cody Drameh has bid farewell to Leeds United following his now-confirmed loan move to Birmingham City, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Graham Smyth.
The journalist reported via his personal Twitter account on Friday (1 September) that the right-back also had interest from Hull City.
The 21-year-old defender has been handed just 22 minutes on the pitch this season by new Whites manager Daniel Farke.
“Cody Drameh is Birmingham bound, on loan, as Phil Hay and Fabrizio Romano reported,” Smyth wrote on Twitter.
“Right-back is into the last year of his deal at Elland Road so it’s farewell. Believe there was interest in a permanent deal from Hull City but Drameh chose Birmingham.”

Drameh certainly has a bright future ahead of him, but given the latest developments at Elland Road, it was clear that it would not be with Leeds.
Farke has opted for the more experienced option of Luke Ayling at right-back in his tenure so far, with the captain playing every minute of the club’s four league matches this season. Moreover, the Whites have also brought in fellow right-back Djed Spence on a season-long loan from Tottenham.
Many Leeds fans may be left confused by the turn of events at Elland Road, with Drameh undoubtedly set to become a top player in the division in the coming months.
He has already proven himself in his brief career so far, playing a key role on loan at Luton Town last season as they were promoted to the Premier League.
But it seems that the man in the dugout has got a plan, with fans desperate to see that plan result in the club getting back into the top flight at the first time of asking.
In other Leeds United news, a French club has submitted a multi-million bid for a Whites midfielder, with a response given.
