Nottingham Forest want to recoup O’Brien fee
Nottingham Forest are holding out to try and recoup the money they paid Huddersfield Town to sign midfielder Lewis O’Brien last summer.
That is according to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon, who claims on his Patreon page that Forest are keen to bring in a figure of around £10million that they paid to sign the midfielder from the Terriers last summer.
O’Brien is out of favour at the City Ground and recently spent a loan spell in MLS with DC United.
Leeds are keen on signing O’Brien this week but the report says they want to do a loan deal which would include an obligation to buy him in the event of promotion.

Leeds United set to face competition for Nat Phillips
Leeds United are set to face competition in the race to sign Liverpool defender Nat Phillips.
That is according to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon, who claims on his Patreon page that the Bundesliga side are keen to re-sign the Reds star.
The 26-year-old spent the 2019/20 season on loan at the MHPArena and looks set to leave Anfield this summer.
Liverpool are keen to sell Phillips, who has two years remaining on his contract and Stuttgart, as well as Leeds, have been linked with both a permanent or a loan move.
West Brom hope to sell Grady Diangana
That’s according to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon, who claims on his Patreon page that the Baggies are keen to cash in on Diangana this summer and have been leaving him out of the side so far this term.
Leeds have been linked with a move, while Burnley are also said to be monitoring the situation.
