Latest Leicester City transfer news from LeicestershireLive brings you a look at Timothy Castagne, incoming wingers and a move to Liverpool
There is one week left to go in the summer transfer window, and it looks set to be a hectic seven days for Leicester City.
Boss Enzo Maresca still wants ‘three or four’ more players through the door, and there are likely to be just as many – if not more – leaving the club before the window slams shut.
Among those linked with exits are defenders Timothy Castagne, Harry Souttar and Victor Kristiansen, with strikers Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho also tipped to complete moves away.

Inbound meanwhile, City will be looking at wingers as a priority, with another centre-back on the list given the injury to Conor Coady. Below is a round-up of all the latest transfer news.
According to Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre live blog, Fulham are in “advanced talks” to sign Castagne, having been linked with interest in him throughout the summer.
Sky claim: “Full-back Timothy Castagne is expected to be the next to leave, with Fulham in advanced talks to bring the Belgium international to Craven Cottage.”
Yunus Akgun update
Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has confirmed “there are offers coming” to them for Leicester City target Yunus Akgün.
He insists the club will decide on their player’s future, saying: “There are offers coming to our club for Yunus Akgün, our club will decide. Yunus is the son of this club. He is a player who grew up here and has done important things.”
The Turkish club beat Molde 3-2 in the early stages of the Champions League on Wednesday evening, and Akgun played 90 minutes, set up a goal and had one ruled out by VAR.
Reports in Turkey linking City with a move for Akgün has been corroborated by Sky Sports, who have reported: “The club are working on deals for Sporting Lisbon’s Issahaku Fatawu and Galatasaray’s Yunus Akgun.”
Top prospect confirms Liverpool move
Leicester City have lost a second young prospect to one of the Premier League big boys in as many weeks.
It comes after talented young midfielder Tyrese Noubissie joined Manchester City, linking up with their under-16 team ahead of the new season.
Another top prospect has now confirmed his move on Instagram after announcing his departure from Leicester in July. Talented midfielder Trey Nyoni, 16, has signed for Liverpool.
The youngster was offered a two-year scholarship at Leicester, with the promise of a professional contract, but he has opted to join Liverpool amid interest from some top Premier League clubs.
