Neal Maupay exit development emerges from Sky Sports amid £25.8m Everton news
Neal Maupay could be on his way out of Everton amid news that Beto is signing from Udinese for £25.8million, according to Sky Sports.
The broadcaster reported via their Transfer Centre on Tuesday (29 August, 12:30pm) that Beto’s medical has been completed, meaning there could be “movement” regarding 27-year-old Maupay.
The ex-Brighton striker has played twice for Everton in the Premier League this season but was an unused substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Wolves last week.
Sky Sports claim that Maupay could now be on the move away from Goodison Park “in the final week” of the summer transfer window, which closes at 11pm on Friday (1 September).
Get rid
Hopefully someone comes in for Maupay as soon as possible so Everton can get him off their wage bill and maybe recoup some of the funds spent on signing the Frenchman from Brighton last year.

The Toffees paid £15million for Maupay in August 2022 and in his debut season at Goodison Park, he returned just one goal in 29 appearances.
Sean Dyche clearly has no plans for Maupay, who didn’t fit in with the style of Frank Lampard or the current Blues boss as he closes in on a move for Portuguese striker Beto.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is yet again injured with a fractured cheekbone and we can only hope that he isn’t out for too long because of Beto struggles to hit the ground running, this season could be yet another long hard slog for the Toffees.
We wish Maupay all the best at his next club if he finds one.
However, we doubt it’ll be in the Premier League and a drop down to the Championship or a move elsewhere in the world will be more likely.
In other Everton news, an unnamed Premier League club now wants to sign one of Maupay’s teammates.
