Mark Robins is forced to make changes to Coventry City team to face Hull at MKM Stadium
Coventry City team news from CoventryLive as the Sky Blues face sixth placed Hull in the Championship
Mark Robins has made three changes to his Coventry City side to take on in-form Hull after an injury to key midfielder Ben Sheaf.
Jamaican internationals Kasey Palmer and Joel Latibeaudiere travelled up together today to join the Sky Blues squad following their long-haul flight back from Kingston on Thursday, but only Latibeaudiere retains his place in the side as playmaker Palmer rests on the bench, replaced by Yasin Ayari.
Meanwhile, City are boosted by the return of Jamie Allen, who is named among the substitutes as he features on a matchday for the first time this season since suffering a heart scare in the summer.
Elsewhere, Bobby Thomas drops to the bench, which also features deadline-day signing Liam Kitching for the first time. Ben Wilson continues in goal with a back three expected to see Latibeaudiere switch across to the right with Kyle McFadzean in the centre and Luis Binks handed his Championship debut on the left.
Milan van Ewijk continues at right wing-back while Jay Dasilva is again deployed on the left, with skipper Liam Kelly coming in for Sheaf alongside Josh Eccles in midfield.
Ayari is expected to play in the No.10 slot behind a front two of Matty Godden and Haji Wright, while Ellis Simms provides back-up from the bench.
City starting line-up: Ben Wilson; Joel Latibeaudiere, Kyle McFadzean, Luis Binks; Milan van Ewijk, Josh Eccles, Liam Kelly, Jay Dasilva; Yasin Ayari; Matty Godden, Haji Wright.
Subs: Brad Collins (GK), Liam Kitching, Bobby Thomas, Jake Bidwell, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Ellis Simms, Kasey Palmer, Jamie Allen, Justin Obikwu.
