Norwich City Explore Deal For World Cup Striker

Norwich City are exploring a deal for AFC Bournemouth forward Kieffer Moore, according to Talk Sport journalist Alex Crook.

The Welsh international could be set for a move to the Championship side, should the Cherries be able to secure a replacement before the end of the day. The 31-year-old striker has made four appearances this season, none lasting more than 45 minutes. The experienced forward has scored 100 career goals in 337 appearances across ten different clubs from up and down the league pyramid.

Moore is a strong physical forward that works hard and occupies defenders. He can pop up with goals, and had successful spells with Cardiff City  and Wigan Athletic where his nack of scoring really shone through. He also has experience at the highest level, having represented Wales in the World Cup in Qatar including the defeat to England at the group stage. His experience and presence could be enough to help push on the Canaries this season.

How has the season gone so far?

Norwich have enjoyed a near perfect start to the Championship season, going unbeaten in their first four games obtaining ten points on the way. They have also scored the league highest amount of goals (13) whilst also progressing in the EFL Cup with victories over QPR and Bristol City.

Moore would be a good solid addition to the Canaries, he would add vital experience, a presence up front as well as chipping in with the odd goal. He has already performed well in the Championship and is perhaps looking for some where to call home as he enters the twilight of his career. Norwich have already started well and the addition of quality to the squad can only benefit them as they aim to push themselves back to the promised land of the Premier League
