Calvert-Lewin, who has been missing from the side since being forced off with a facial injury in the first half of Everton’s 4-0 loss at Aston Villa on August 20 after a collision with opposition goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez but was spotted in training with his team-mates in both weeks over the international break. Dyche said: “There are people coming back to fitness, Dom is back on the grass again and should be clear.

“Jack Harrison is now on the grass with us as a team – only the last few days – but that’s good news and he’s feeling good. Dele is still a bit of time away, Seamus (Coleman) is still a bit of time away but they’re on the grass with the physios, so that’s good, but not working with us in the team.

“Dobbo is back, he trained with us and Jarrad is fine, they’re just knocks, nothing too major. So we are getting stronger.”
