Patson Daka ‘set’ for Leicester City exit as Premier League club make transfer move
Latest Leicester City transfer news as Patson Daka is reportedly set to join Premier League club AFC Bournemouth
Leicester City striker Patson Daka looks “set to” join Premier League side Bournemouth, it has been claimed.
Daka has not made the match day squads for Leicester’s last two fixtures, with manager Enzo Maresca admitting that some players had been left out because of noises being made about their futures
It now seems Daka could be set for pastures new. That’s according to journalist Alan Nixon, who claims Bournemouth “are set to win” the race for the Zambian’s signature with the striker “available” before the transfer deadline next week.

Everton are said to have “tried to sign” Daka this summer, but were unable to agree a deal with City. Bournemouth are reportedly willing to meet the terms, however. It is unclear what sort of fee is involved, but Leicester will be hoping to recoup as much of the original fee they paid for him as possible.
Daka joined City from RB Salzburg in June 2021, signing a five-year deal after the clubs agreed a fee £23 million. He has since played 74 times for City, scoring 15 goals. Nine of those came in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, City appear to have agreed a deal with Galatasaray to take winger Yunus Akgun on loan. The 23-year-old looks set to arrive on a temporary basis, with a future €10m deal set if he makes 25 appearances this season.
