WORCESTER City Women had to settle for a point from their West Midlands Regional Women’s Football League Premier encounter at Shrewsbury Town Women on Sunday.
It was a tale of two penalties in the end as Olivia Mitcham’s early spot-kick was cancelled out when Alicia Robinson kept her cool to convert from 12 yards five minutes from time.
City had a glorious chance to extend their lead in first-half stoppage time but the in-form Mitcham was denied from close-range by Shrewsbury keeper Phoebe Carter.
