Sources: Stoke next signing imminent as South Korean attacker passes medical ahead of switch

South Korean attacker Bae Jun-ho has passed a medical ahead of his move to Stoke City, TEAMtalk understands.

Bae is now awaiting his immigration papers being granted before finalising his switch to the Bet365 Stadium.

The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best young prospects to emerge from South Korea in recent years and has caught the interest of a number of European clubs.

The attacking midfielder has impressed for Daejeon Hana Citizen in the K-League as well as on the international stage with South Korea Under-20s.

Bae helped his country finish fourth at the Under-20 World Cup in Argentina earlier this summer, scoring three goals in seven games.

Stoke have been busy so far in this summer transfer window and they see Bae as somehow can add some creative flair to their attack for this season as he can play anywhere across the frontline.
