Leeds United confirmed XI v Sheffield Wednesday: Glen Kamara on the bench
Daniel Farke has named his Leeds United XI as Sheffield Wednesday visit Elland Road on Saturday (2 September) in the EFL Championship.
Summer signing Karl Darlow, who started the league cup game against Salford City in midweek has been dropped by the German while Charlie Cresswell has also made way for Joe Rodon.
Joel Piroe will lead the line while Georginio Rutter is expected to play either behind or him or out wide while new signings Djed Spence and Glen Kamara are on the bench.
Leeds took to Twitter to share their lineup for the game.
Win this
Elland Road is still to see a win this season and this could be the perfect opportunity to seal the three points.
The transfer window is shut and all those who had to leave have gone and the new signings are all in.
On the balance of things, it was an effective summer for Leeds and Daniel Farke appears to know what he’s been doing.
It has not been easy, particularly with the ridiculous relegation clauses but he has weathered that storm pretty well.
It’s now to show the Elland Road faithful just how good a manager he is and hopefully, he gets the best from this group of players.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites tabled multiple enquiries to sign a multi-million international winger ahead of the transfer deadline.
