Sources: Leeds United agree Glen Kamara terms after breakthrough
Leeds United have agreed terms with Glen Kamara and talks will continue on Wednesday with Rangers over his fee, sources have told Football Insider.
The 27-year-old is also attracting interest from Middlesbrough and Coventry City.
Rangers have given the green light for Kamara to move before the window shuts and he is not expected to play for the club again.
It is understood Rangers are holding out for a fee of around £5.5million for the central midfielder who joined the club in 2019 for just £50,000.
Kamara did not train with the Rangers first team at the start of this season but has since returned to the club’s training ground recently.
However, the Arsenal academy graduate was absent from the Rangers squad once again on Tuesday night for their 2-2 Champions League play-off draw against PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox.

He has yet to play for the Glasgow giants this season.
Kamara has been a long-term target for Leeds and has been on their radar in previous windows only for him to end up staying at Ibrox.
But Michael Beale has signalled to the player he is free to leave this summer as long as the club’s asking price is met following arrivals such as Nico Raskin and Jose Cifuentes.
Kamara was a key member of the Steven Gerrard team that won the title at Rangers in 2021, but struggled under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and he has also been less effective under Beale.
