Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. talks what’s next and future as a Buckeye
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marvin Harrison Jr. was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, as well as Receiver of the Year on Wednesday, and afterwards gave his first comments since the loss to Michigan afterward to Big Ten Network.
“It’s disappointing, for the third year in a row to come up short against those guys,” Harrison said. “My biggest goal this year was to beat them and make it to the Big Ten Championship, and unfortunately that didn’t happen. But we’ll see what happens next year.”

Harrison also said that he’s not made up his mind as to his future plans, and that he wants to see how the rest of this year plays out first. Then, presumably once Ohio State’s postseason plans are finalized, he’ll announce his decision.
“Just taking it one day at a time right now, and see how the rest of this year plays out,” he said.
Harrison finished the 2023 season with 67 catches for 1,211 yards with 14 touchdowns, and one on the ground as well. His is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, which will be given out in early December.
But despite the accolades, he’s remaining quiet on whatever decision he’ll make, or has made, about his NFL and Ohio State future.
“Just sticking with one another, getting better during bowl prep,” Harrison said, when asked what he’s looking forward to for the remainder of the season. “I always look forward to bowl practices, they’re always super exciting. Kind of gets the spring ball vibe again, and you’re not really game-planning for a team just yet, but I definitely look forward to going out there and competing against our defense, who’s been great all year.”
