Steelers Get Massive Boost Before Colts Game
PITTSBURGH — Reinforcements are on the way for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they get set for a road trip to Indianapolis, where they’ll meet the Colts for a pivotal matchup in the AFC playoff race. When the Steelers do step onto the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium, they can expect to be with inside linebacker Elandon Roberts and running back Najee Harris, who both said they’ll be ready to play this weekend. Roberts said he felt good after the loss to the Patriots and is looking forward to returning to the field just a week removed from suffering a groin injury during the Cardinals. Despite entering the day questionable, Roberts played, started and accounted for a team-high six
tackles and a sack against the Patriots last week. “I’m good to go, good to go,” Roberts said when asked how he was feeling at the beginning of the week. Harris said he was “good” as well when asked if his knee injury, which popped up on the injury report last week, was going to affect his availability for this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. He ran for 12 times for 29 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards as well. Both players started and finished last week’s game against the Patriots but neither Harris nor Roberts practiced during the Steelers’ first session of the week.
