Tennessee Titans Release Thursday Injury Report Ahead of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Matchup

The Tennessee Titans continued their preparation for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday and with that came another long injury list, but with the bad, there is some good news for the Titans as well.

The Tennessee Titans are desperate for a road win this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but to get it, they will need to do so short-handed as multiple starters are trending towards not playing on Sunday

Injury Report Thursday, November 9th

Wide receiver Treylon Burks, right guard Daniel Brunskill, offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting were non-participants for a second straight day and that makes it incredibly likely none of them will be available on Sunday.

In some positive news, the Titans saw multiple players have their status upgraded on Thursday. Linebackers Azeez Al-Shaair and Jack Gibbens along with right tackle Chris Hubbard were upgraded in different ways from Wednesday’s session. That leaves them on track to play barring a setback.

The Titans two offensive stars, Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins, were a non-participant and a limited participant, respectively. While that may sound concerning, both players were listed for rest, not injury.

Finally, we continue to see starting slot corner Roger McCreary practice in full. McCreary missed the last two game with a hamstring injury and the Titans were roasted over the middle of the field while he was out. McCreary’s presence should help in the pass game, but the run game as well.

On the Tampa Bay side, their injury list isn’t as long as the Titans, but they will certainly be watching the status of some of their key players. Specifically, in the secondary where the Buccaneers have struggled to play well or stay healthy.

Defensive backs Carlton Davis Jr, Jamel Dean and Josh Hayes are all on the report. Hayes and Davis Jr. have been non-participants both Wednesday and Thursday while Dean was upgraded to limited.

The Titans already should have been attacking the secondary of Tampa Bay, but now with cluster injuries factoring in, it would be a huge mistake not to try and target the Buccaneers’ biggest weakness.
