Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive brings you an injury update from Burnley’s camp
Burnley have been handed a couple of injury boosts ahead of their Premier League clash at Nottingham Forest on Monday (7:45pm).
Forest will return to action following the two-week international break. Steve Cooper’s side will be looking to record a second successive victory after defeating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last time out.
The Clarets on the other hand, are winless in all of their three league games. However, Vincent Kompany’s men did knock Forest out of the Carabao Cup last month.
Ahead of the clash, Kompany is expected to welcome back Aaron Ramsey and Vitinho. The pair were forced to be withdrawn during that cup meeting with concussion and a knee injury respectively.

Hjalmar Ekdal was also forced off after sustaining a knee injury and is still recovering. “Ekdal we were really fearing the worst case scenario, so in our case it’s still a positive,” Kompany revealed.
“He’s not going to be fit the next couple of weeks or something, but it’s not what we feared in terms of damage. Aaron Ramsey is back, Vitinho is back, so there are a lot of options and a lot of choices.”
Elsewhere, Anass Zaroury will return after serving a three-game suspension while Darko Churlinov and Michael Obafemi remain unavailable.
