West Ham have major triple excitement on the cards for Friday and it promises to be somewhat unprecedented.

We all know West Ham are massive and so too is this week.

Hammers fans are in dreamland at the moment. And it is a far cry from the doom and gloom that was predicted by many following the sale of Declan Rice.

West Ham are still basking in the glory of their first trophy win for 43 years – securing a third consecutive season of European football for the first time in the club’s history.

And David Moyes’s side sit second in the fledgling Premier League table, deposed at the weekend only by reigning champions Man City.

West Ham can reclaim top spot when they play the first game of the weekend at newly-promoted Luton.

This is all against the backdrop of what is turning out to be – on paper at least – one of West Ham’s best ever transfer windows despite losing talisman Rice.

Now West Ham have major triple excitement on the cards for Friday and it promises to be somewhat unprecedented.

First comes the excitement of the Europa League group stage draw for West Ham which takes place from 12pm UK time on Friday.

The draw will feature 32 teams – the 16 automatic qualifiers including the Hammers, as well as the 10 play-off round winners set to be confirmed on Thursday night along with the six losers of the UEFA Champions League play-off round, set to be confirmed on Wednesday night.

And don’t forget barring disaster West Ham will almost certainly get an incredible double shot at European glory this season – here’s how.

Next in a day of triple excitement for West Ham fans is all the fun of the summer transfer window deadline day.

There will undoubtedly be a hearty feast of transfer news and gossip throughout the day as West Ham look to offload and bring in players before the window shuts at 11pm.

With at least one striker and possibly two new arrivals being targeted, it will be anything but boring.

Moyes has already warned technical director Tim Steidten he could be set for a very busy day indeed.

And of course who can forget the third big event on the same day for West Ham, the small matter of that Friday night game against Luton Town.

Hammers fans are already eagerly anticipating a potential West Ham debut for new £38m signing Mohammed Kudus at Kenilworth Road.

The game, which kicks off live on Sky Sports at 8pm, could see West Ham go back to the top of the Premier League. Fans will then be feverishly switching over or checking their phones for the final hour of the window.

What a day in prospect. What a time to be a West Ham fan.
