Harry Lee recalled from loan at Weston-super-Mare

Goalkeeper Harry Lee has been recalled from his loan at National League South side Weston-super-Mare.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a successful spell at the Optima Stadium, keeping 8 clean sheets in 20 starts for the Seagulls.

We’d like to thank Weston for helping Harry with his development and wish them all the best for the rest of the season.

Lee will now rejoin the first team squad.

Former Exeter City defender Craig Woodman announces retirement

At the age of 40, the now Tiverton Town man is hanging up his boots

Tiverton Town have announced that defender Craig Woodman is hanging up his boots, just weeks before he turns 41. The veteran full-back has been a model professional, turning out for the likes of Bristol City, Wycombe Wanderers, Brentford and Exeter, making in excess of 600 appearances before leaving St James Park in the summer of 2020 for Ladysmead.

Woodman went on to make 82 appearances for his hometown club, but almost a quarter of a century in the game, ‘Woody’ has decided to call it a day.

“We wish Craig all the very best and thank him for his contribution to the Yellows’ cause and for representing the town so well on the football stage,” a statement from the club read. “He will always be a welcome guest at Ladysmead.”

Life without Woodman begins for Tiverton tomorrow at home to Hungerford Town. The Yellows, under the management of new boss Leigh Robinson, have picked up of late with a goalless draw with Harrow Borough followed by a thumping 4-0 win at Sholing and last weekend’s excellent 2-1 win at Hanwell Town, courtesy of Jerry Lawrence and Jack Rice’s first half goals.
