Breaking: One of the team’s most dynamic players is returning to the Dolphins offence

Dolphins offense getting back one of its most dynamic players

It appears the Miami Dolphins are going to be getting one of their most dynamic players back with the return of rooking running back De’Von Achane.

The Dolphins officially activated Achane from injured reserve on Saturday ahead of their game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Achane has not appeared in a contest since Week 5 due to a knee injury. He has been working his way back over the past week, though, returning to practice and officially carrying a “questionable” designation for Sunday’s game.

The fact Miami is activating him on Saturday is a strong indication his return is just around the corner. That is a huge addition for the Dolphins.

Achane has been one of the breakout rookie stars in the NFL this season, rushing for 460 yards and five touchdowns on only 38 carries. That averages out to a staggering 12.1 yards per rush.

Just to put those numbers into some perspective, consider that his 12.1 yards per rush would be the 40th highest yards per catch average in the NFL. He is gaining yards on his carries like most wide receivers do on passing plays. He is also still the among the top 25 running backs in terms of total yards despite playing in just four games.

He also has nine catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

The Dolphins offense has been nearly unstoppable at home this season and is not only getting a Raiders team that ranks 29th in the league against the run (135.6 yards against per game), it is getting them at home with one of its most dynamic players likely to be back in the lineup.
