Raptors Rule Precious Achiuwa Active vs Bulls, Zach LaVine Remains TBD

The Toronto Raptors will have Precious Achiuwa back in the lineup Friday night against the Chicago Bulls

The Toronto Raptors will have Precious Achiuwa back healthy after a one-game absence with a right knee injury, Raptors coach Darko Rajaković said.

Achiuwa was a late addition to Toronto’s injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers. He will now return to his spot on the bench, helping to lead Toronto’s second unit alongside Gary Trent Jr. and Malachi Flynn.

Zach LaVine Injury Update | NBA.com

It’s been a tumultuous start to the season for Achiuwa who battled a groin injury earlier in the year and has yet to find his footing this year. He’s averaging 7.4 points this year, his worst number since joining Toronto in his sophomore season. He’s also turning the ball over more than ever before and he’s seen his field goal percentage drop from last season.

Precious Achiuwa has faith that his breakout is coming. So do the Raptors

Expect Otto Porter Jr. and Chris Boucher to come off the bench as well. Gradey Dick and Jalen McDaniels appear to have fallen out of the rotation for the time being.

As for Chicago, Zach LaVine and Coby White are considered game-time decisions. LaVine is dealing with a right foot injury while White has left ankle soreness.
