BURNLEY SUBMIT OFFER FOR KRC GENK’S MIKE TRÉSOR
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna is reporting that Burnley have made an offer to sign KRC Genk winger Mike Trésor (24).
According to Aouna, the offer made by Vincent Kompany’s side is a loan with an option to make the deal permanent. The player himself is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League. The Belgian international winger has scored once and registered one assist so far for the Belgian club this season. Since joining the club in 2021, he has played 84 times, scoring nine goals and registering a very impressive 33 assists.
L’Équipe journalist Loïc Tanzi has added that the purchase option included in Trésor’s prospective move to Turf Moor is almost obligatory, meaning that the clauses that would see the Belgian make the move permanent, will likely be easy to trigger. Burnely have endured a difficult return to the Premier League so far, losing both of their opening matches.
