BURNLEY INTERESTED IN MARSEILLE’S ISAAK TOURÉ
RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins is reporting that Burnley are amongst a number of teams interested in Olympique de Marseille centre-back Isaak Touré (20).
Touré only joined Marseille from Le Havre last summer, but the club are already reportedly wanting to sell the centre-back, despite a promising six-month loan at AJ Auxerre last season.
Plenty of teams have shown an interest, including newly-promoted Burnley. Ligue 1 rivals Clermont Foot, FC Nantes and FC Metz are all interested. FC Lorient are also interested, whilst Marseille are interested in Les Merlus’ Bamo Meḯté (21). However, Lorient only want to loan Touré, however, Marseille are more keen on selling Touré and buying Meïté. Belgian side Anderlecht are also interested in Marseille’s imposing centre-back.
Foot Mercato reported earlier on Sunday that Lorient and Marseille are in talks over a swap deal. However, given the interest of multiple clubs across Europe, Touré’s move to the Breton club may not be so simple.
