The free agents Hull City could still sign if Liam Rosenior wants added depth
The Tigers have enjoyed a strong summer under their head coach
Hull City ended the transfer window on Friday with a pulsating final hour or so when the Tigers announced four new signings to take the total tally this summer to 10.
Boss Liam Rosenior has been keen to restructure the squad during the summer months as he looks to stamp his authority on a group of players he inherited in November when he took over following Shota Arveladze’s departure.
Keen to add quality and depth to his ranks, the likes of Ryan Allsop, Ruben Vinagre, Jaden Philogene, Scott Twine and Liam Delap have done just that, giving him plenty of options.
The Championship season, however, as we know, is an unforgiving mistress at the best of times, and for some managers, there will be a temptation to dip into the free transfer market.

Naturally, that’s an area fraught with risk given many of those players will not have played for a period of time, and even if they’ve spent pre-season training with an old club or personal trainer, they will lack the vital fitness gained by playing games.
Still, there are some notable names available to clubs still looking to do a final bit of business or two, including a familiar face.
