Baltimore Orioles Reportedly Could Trade for Rays Ace Glasnow

The Baltimore Orioles will look to add starting pitching help in the MLB offseason, which could include Tyler Glasnow.

The Baltimore Orioles could be in the mix for the next decade. After winning 101 games in the regular season, it’s clear that there’s no shortage of talent in Baltimore. What makes it even more impressive is that this is just the beginning for this team.

There weren’t many flaws on the Orioles roster. Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Santander, and others all impressed. However, it was the staff that raised questions.

Grayson Rodriguez is the name in Baltimore when it comes to starting pitching. The 23-year-old had some struggles during the season but has everything a young arm needs. With a fastball in the 94th percentile, Rodriguez looks to have a long and successful career.

According to The Athletic’s Jim Bowden, a name to watch for Baltimore could be Tampa Bay Rays Tyler Glasnow.

“His trade market will be robust, filled with contending teams like the Dodgers, Rangers, Orioles and Braves who are looking for short-term, top-of-the-rotation starters.”

At 30-years-old, Glasnow could be the perfect piece for Baltimore. The injury concerns are valid, but he seems to be healthy.
