According to SportsBild (via Sport Witness), Tottenham could end up paying €10m extra for summer signing for Micky v de Ven.
There is a clause in his contract that means if Spurs qualify for the Champions League, they will have to pay the German club the additional fee.
Van de Ven has been one of the best players for Spurs since coming in making an instant impact to the defense.
Him and Cristian Romero have formed a formidable partnership at the back, with the pair being one of the best defensive partners in the league.
They have helped Spurs to a terrific start with the North London club unbeaten and currently top of the Premier League table.
If they continue this form they will no doubt finish in the top 4. The report claims that fhs Wolfsburg are keeping a close eye on Tottenham’s season.
If Tottenham ‘continue to be successful’, the centre-back’s transfer fee will rise to €50m.
He’s not the only summer signing who has made an instant impact. James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario have been superb as well.
Vicario has been a reliable presence between the goal for Spurs while in Maddison they finally have a proper attacking midfielder since Christian Eriksen.
