Erol Bulut believes that Cardiff City is not a one-man team as they defeat Coventry City without their star player.

As Cardiff City defeats Coventry City without Aaron Ramsey, Erol Bulut believes that they are not a one-man team.
On Tuesday night, the Bluebirds defeated the Sky Blues 3-2.

Erol Bulut commended his Cardiff City “fighters” and claimed the 3-2 victory over Coventry City is evidence that the team has talent beyond Aaron Ramsey, its undisputed leader.

In place of Ramsey for Tuesday night’s Championship match against the Sky Blues, Bulut started a three-man midfield with Joe Ralls, Manolis Siopis, and Ryan Wintle.

“We require every player. I have 25. I need all 25 of them to fight until January,” he remarked in reference to the squad effort.

“Ramsey is a wonderful player with a tremendous career, but we proved today that we can use other players to fill in for him when he is not on the pitch. Ramsey can control the ball better and provide more opportunities, but the other players who came in demonstrated the value of the entire squad. We need to demonstrate our teamwork.

Cardiff needed to follow up their victory in the South Wales derby with another victory in order to maintain their momentum.

If Cardiff had been able to defend against the opposition better, they very well may have secured another six points.

“After the match against Swansea, it was a great victory, but we cannot celebrate too much because the game today was two days later and we had to work,” he continued.

“Playing against a really good team was difficult. They work well together as a team. I instructed my players to work extremely hard and give it their all for 100 minutes.

“I don’t want to consider the points we dropped. versus Leicester, Ipswich, and Leeds. More points may have been gained from those contests. It would appear otherwise. However, this is football.
