Sources: Nottingham Forest open to selling Jonathan Panzo as Swansea City, Cardiff City and Birmingham City make moves for deal
Nottingham Forest are open to selling defender Jonathan Panzo before the deadline day cut-off, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old is a target for Championship trio Swansea City, Cardiff City and Birmingham City in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Panzo has fallen down Steve Cooper’s pecking order at Forest, who are resigned to letting him leave in search of first-team football.
It is understood that Belgian side Anderlecht are also interested in signing Panzo to bolster their defensive options this summer.
The four clubs have all registered their interest in a potential deal.
Forest have endured a mixed start to the season, winning one of their first three Premier League fixtures after losing their 2-0 lead against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

Cooper has fielded a back three of Scott McKenna, Willy Boly and Joe Worrall for the start of the season, although the latter was sent off for a challenge on Bruno Fernandes this weekend.
Panzo is yet to make an appearance for Forest this season and spent last year out on loan at Coventry City.
He made 32 appearances for the Championship side in 2022/23, scoring and assisting once across all competitions.
He helped the Sky Blues to a fifth-placed finish in the Championship and made a late appearance in the play-off final where Coventry lost via penalty shootout.
Panzo has only made one senior appearance for Forest since joining the club in 2022, when the club had a huge squad overhaul following their promotion to the top flight.
