Revealed: West Ham have agreed triple-your-money Mohammed Kudus deal – £61m in total
Mohammed Kudus is completing a West Ham medical after agreeing a triple-your-money contract that will see him sign for around £38million in total, sources have told Football Insider.
The attacking midfielder, 23, arrived in London on Saturday to put the finishing touches to a transfer to the London Stadium following a breakthrough in talks.
West Ham increased their offer for Kudus to £35.6m plus £2.5m of performance related add-ons, and that was finally accepted by Ajax following extensive talks.
Kudus has already agreed personal terms with West Ham on a five-year contract with the option of a further year.
It is believed the package will triple his Ajax salary, which is worth around £30,000-a-week.
West Ham could end up paying over £61million in transfer fee and wages across the contract, and even more if the option is triggered.

But the completion of the deal is being seen by the Londoners as a huge coup as well as vindication for Hammers technical director Tim Steidten, who was in Amsterdam last week trying to complete a deal for the Ghana international.
Kudus has made it clear he is keen to move to the Premier League after previous moves fell through late on.
Kudus came close to signing for a Serie A club earlier this month and has been on the radar of multiple leading English clubs this summer, including Chelsea and Brighton.
The Seagulls reportedly agreed a £35million fee for Kudus earlier this summer but failed to complete the signing after a dispute over the involvement of a release clause in his contract.
The Ajax star’s form in the new season has been unaffected by the off-pitch drama. He already has four goals this season, including a midweek Europa League qualifier hat-trick against Ludogorets.
Kudus has proven to be a reliable source of goals and assists for the Dutch side after scoring 18 in 42 total appearances for Ajax last season.
