Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers score, live updates: Week 15

Tennessee Titans Release Tuesday Injury Report Ahead of Pittsburgh Steelers Matchup

The Tennessee Titans are on a short week as they prepare for a Thursday Night Football showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers. That means the entire week’s preparation is sped up including the first practice of the week coming on Tuesday, With a first practice comes an injury report. The Titans released an injury report on Monday, but it was solely an estimation as the Titans didn’t have a full practice. Tuesday was different though.

The first thing to point out here are the three players who did not participate. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, right tackle Chris Hubbard and wide receiver Chris Moore. Tannehill is likely out with his ankle injury and Moore is dealing with a personal matter that won’t prevent him from playing in the game, but Hubbard’s situation is not as digestible. Hubbard suffered a concussion midway through Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Head coach Mike Vrabel has historically been conservative with concussions, often not allowing his players to return without missing one game. With this being a shorter week than normal, you can expect Hubbard to miss. In his place, like we saw against the Falcons after Hubbard’s exit, Nicholas Petit-Frere will play at right tackle and the once-benched Andre Dillard will step back in at left tackle. Against a pass rush like the Steelers have, the duo will be tested.

The next name to watch is cornerback Roger McCreary. McCreary is the team’s starting slot corner and his presence was missed against the Falcons. McCreary’s replacement was undrafted rookie Eric Garror, but Garror struggle and was attacked by Atlanta. The rest of the names on the list either should not be in jeopardy of missing Thursday’s game or are star players getting a warranted rest day like DeAndre Hopkins, Denico Autry, Derrick Henry and Jeffery Simmons. None of those names should be of any concern.
